Why do I never wear green?

The reason I don’t wear green is because we use a green “chroma-key” wall at News 8 to present the weather maps. Basically what we are doing is keying out the color green in one of our cameras and superimposing the weather maps behind me; the green wall “disappears” from the screen. So, if I wear green, then I too disappear and you would see the weather maps right through me. I can get away with this twice a year: on Halloween and perhaps April Fool’s Day. I like to wear a green sheet from my head down, so all you can see is my head floating around the weather maps. It’s always the highlight of the tour when kids come to visit News 8 for a tour.
