Coulee Parenting Connection is the area's only community parenting publication, published six times annually and available to tri-state area families for free. Our circulation of 12,000 complimentary copies reaches a strong, loyal readership of primarily moms in southwestern Wisconsin, southeastern Minnesota, and northern Iowa, with an estimated readership of 18,000.

Each issue features columns and articles aimed at enhancing family life in our region, along with our exceptionally popular Family Fun Calendar, offering the area's most comprehensive calendar of local family events. We are available at high-traffic locations visited by families throughout the region, including libraries, specialty shops, child care centers, family organizations, and public and private elementary schools in Holmen, La Crosse, La Crescent, Onalaska, and West Salem.

Coulee Parenting Connection premiered May 2001. Coulee Parenting Connection, LLC, is independently owned and operated by Lissa Carlson, founder and publisher of the magazine. Carlson’s nearly 20 years of experience in journalism and publishing includes roles as: associate editor for Metroparent magazine, a family resource for Greater Milwaukee; editor for RCM Enterprises, Inc., Minneapolis; and freelance contributor to a variety of publications, including Specialty Coffee Retailer of Adams Business Media, Inc., Chicago.

We strive to improve family life for parents and children in the Coulee Region by providing relevant and meaningful coverage of local family stories, issues & events in a high-quality, community-driven publication.
