Travel Tips
for Multi-Generational Trips

  • When booking for a multi-generational trip, keep everyone in the same type of accommodations - except grandpa and grandma who should be in more deluxe accommodations to accommodate family gatherings.
  • Make dinner reservations for the entire family ahead of time so they know there is one time each day they will always gather as a family.
  • When packing for grandchildren, pack each day’s outfit in a plastic gallon zip bag. This reduces over-packing and keeps everyone organized.
  • When traveling with children, make a really good plan - and then be very flexible.
  • Build activities around the child’s interests, but share your own as well.
  • Set up a group photo with the on-site photographer when on board your cruise or arriving at your destination. Coordinate outfits ahead of time.
